Launch of EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Series 2021

“Launching in April 2021, EuroBLECH Digital Innovation Series 2021 will provide an essential marketplace and business platform for the international sheet metal working industry. It will deliver a set of targeted curated digital events and offer exhibitors the opportunity to introduce new products and machines as well as feature their latest developments and innovations,” EuroBLECH organiser, Mack Brooks Exhibitions, told ISMR. It is urging the sheet metal industry to get involved and share its expertise with all participants.

An important part of the first EuroBLECH Digital Innovation event from 27-28 April 2021 will be a series of webinars, covering the main topic of forming technology (including sheet metal products and materials, as well as tool technology).

“The aim is to address challenges and to provide fresh inspiration as well as ideas for boosting productivity and efficiency, increasing margins and presenting new technology solutions. Speakers will share up-to-the minute insight, knowledge and best practice, which attendees can take back and apply to their organisations. Presentations and talks will be in English and must provide clear actionable takeaways,” added the show organiser.

Abstracts, which must be submitted by 12 March 2021 to euroblech@mackbrooks.co.uk , should include a title (a short and informative title with familiar terms); objectives/scope (listing the objectives and/or scope of the proposed presentation) and results/observations/ conclusions (describing the results, observations and conclusions of the proposed presentation). No sales pitches will be accepted – the webinar programme aims to provide educational insights and practical takeaways for the audience.

“Abstracts should be written in English and contain no more than 400 words. Data in the abstract and final presentation must be technically correct. The abstract and final presentation may present information about equipment and tools but should avoid undue commercialism and extensive use of trade names. Management clearance must be obtained before paper proposal submission and any issues concerning clearance should be outlined when the paper proposal is submitted. If material in a presentation has been published, presented or accepted for publication or presentation, this must be disclosed in your proposal during the submission process,” added Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

Authors of accepted paper proposals will be notified the week of 22 March 2021 and authors will be required to provide the video presentation in its final form by no later than 9 April 2021. An agreement to produce and supply a video presentation to EuroBLECH 2021 carries an obligation to participate in the event, including the live Q&A session associated with the presentation.
